- The lac Otis is a body of water tributary of the southern slope of the Saguenay River via the "ruisseau aux Cailles". It is located in the municipality of Saint-Félix-d'Otis, in the Le Fjord-du-Saguenay Regional County Municipality from the administrative region Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. The southern part of Lake Otis is served by route 170, that is the main street (east-west direction) which passes to the village of the hamlet Lac-Goth and to the village of Saint-Félix-d'Otis going west. A few other secondary forest roads serve the lake sector for forestry and recreational tourism activities. Several dozen chalets are set up, especially around the south-eastern bay where the village of Saint-Félix-d'Otis and the north-eastern bay are located. Vacationing is the main economic activity in the sector; forestry, second. The surface of Lake Otis is usually frozen from the end of November to the beginning of April, however the safe circulation on the ice is generally done from mid-December to the end of March. (en)
- Le lac Otis est un plan d'eau tributaire du versant sud de la rivière Saguenay via le ruisseau aux Cailles. Il est situé dans la municipalité de Saint-Félix-d'Otis, dans la MRC Le Fjord-du-Saguenay de la région administrative Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, dans la province de Québec, au Canada. La partie sud du lac Otis est desservie par la route 170, soit la rue principale (sens est-ouest) laquelle passe au village du hameau Lac-Goth et au village de Saint-Félix-d'Otis en allant vers l’ouest. Quelques autres routes forestières secondaires desservent le secteur du lac pour les besoins de la foresterie et des activités récréotouristiques. Plusieurs dizaines de chalets sont aménagés surtout autour de la baie sud-est où se situe le village de Saint-Félix-d'Otis et la baie du nord-est.. La villégiature constitue la principale activité économique du secteur ; la foresterie, en second. La surface du lac Otis est habituellement gelée de la fin novembre au début avril, toutefois la circulation sécuritaire sur la glace se fait généralement de la mi-décembre à la fin mars. (fr)
