- Original Sin ist ein Konzeptalbum von Jim Steinmans Studioprojekt Pandora’s Box und wurde von ihm produziert. Obwohl es ein kommerzieller Flop wurde (mit Ausnahme von Südafrika) erreichten einige Lieder mit anderen Interpreten Platinstatus. Teilweise wird dieses Album hoch geschätzt und erhält positive Rezension auf Seiten wie amazon.de. Da das von der Plattenfirma vorgegebene Budget von 150.000 US-$ nicht ausreichte, investierte Steinman eine Million Dollar aus seinem Privatvermögen, um das Album nach seinen Vorstellungen fertigstellen zu können. Steinman ist stolz auf die Lieder auf dem Album, auch wenn sich Original Sin im Vergleich mit seinen anderen Alben und Lieder nur schlecht verkaufte. Das Album kam bis auf Platz 43 in Schweden. It was the group's only album, and was a commercial flop. Although the album was not a commercial success (except in South Africa), many of the songs have gone platinum with other artists. Steinman is said to have been very proud of the songs on this album, even though Original Sin sold very poorly in comparison with his highest selling albums and songs. The album charted at #43 in Sweden. The album was rereleased in 2006 along with a DVD featuring the videos for "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" and "Good Girls Go to Heaven (Bad Girls Go Everywhere)", a featurette featuring interviews and performances by Steinman.
