- Der Maidan-Rat (ukrainisch Народне об'єднання "Майдан") ist ein am 22. Dezember 2013 in Kiew gegründeter Zusammenschluss mehrerer politischer Parteien, parteiloser Personen und öffentlicher Organisationen der Euromaidan-Proteste mit dem Ziel, „eine neue Ukraine und eine neue ukrainische Regierung zu errichten“, eine neue Verfassung zu formulieren und korrupte Richter und Staatsanwälte zu entlassen. Ziel war es, die Opposition zur damaligen Regierung und die Protestbewegung in allen Regionen des Landes zu koordinieren. In der Praxis bedeutete dies auch, in den damals regierungs- und präsidentenfreundlichen Gebieten der Ostukraine für die Unterstützung der Ziele der Organisation zu werben.Die Organisation strebte die Mitgliedschaft von „Millionen von Ukrainern“ an. Nach Aussage des Leitungsmitgliedes der Organisation Arsenij Jazenjuk sei der Maidan-Rat „ein bisschen wie die Solidarność-Bewegung in Polen“. Benannt ist der Rat, wie auch die Protestbewegung des Euromaidan selbst, nach dem Majdan Nesaleschnosti, dem Versammlungsort der Protestler und Gründungsort des Rats im Zentrum der ukrainischen Hauptstadt Kiew. - La Unión Popular del Maidán (en ucraniano: Народне об'єднання "Майдан", romanizado: Narodne obiednannya "Maidan") es una alianza en Ucrania formada por varios partidos políticos e individuos no partidistas y organizaciones públicas el quinto domingo (22 de diciembre de 2013) de las protestas del Euromaidán con el objetivo de "construir una nueva Ucrania y un nuevo gobierno ucraniano" mediante la creación de una nueva constitución ucraniana y la destitución de jueces y fiscales corruptos. También tiene como objetivo organizar la oposición al régimen actual y coordinar el movimiento de protesta en todas las regiones del país.. En la práctica, esto significa ampliar el apoyo a los objetivos de la organización en el corazón progubernamental y propresidencial de Ucrania oriental. La organización tiene como objetivo que millones de ucranianos se conviertan en miembros. - The Maidan People's Union (Ukrainian: Народне об'єднання "Майдан", romanized: Narodne obiednannya "Maidan") is an alliance in Ukraine formed by several political parties and non-partisan individuals and public organizations on the fifth Sunday (22 December 2013) of the Euromaidan-protests with the aim of "building a new Ukraine and a new Ukrainian government" by creating a new Ukrainian constitution, and removing corrupt judges and prosecutors. It also aims to organize opposition to the current regime and to coordinate the protest movement in all regions of the country. In practice this means broadening support for the goals of the organization in the pro-government and pro-presidential heartland East Ukraine. The organization aims that millions of Ukrainians will become members. According to co-head of the organization Arseniy Yatsenyuk, "it will be a little bit like the Solidarity movement in Poland".
