- El Mausoleo de Gaspard Monge (en francés: Mausolée de Gaspard Monge) es una estructura donde están depositados los restos Gaspard Monge, en el cementerio de Père Lachaise, en París, Francia. Gaspard fue profesor de Geometría en la École Polytechnique de París, y con Denon acompañó a Napoleón Bonaparte en su expedición a Egipto, con el fin de hacer dibujos de las antigüedades arquitectónicas y esculturas, y las otras las delimitaciones geográficas de ese antiguo país. Volvió a París, donde ayudó a Denon en la publicación de sus antigüedades. En su partida, los alumnos de la Escuela Politécnica erigieron este mausoleo a su memoria, como testimonio de su estima, con un diseño hecho por su amigo Denon. El mausoleo está inspirado en la arquitectura egipcia. (es)
- Gaspard Monge, whose remains are deposited in the burying ground in Père Lachaise Cemetery, at Paris, in a magnificent mausoleum, was professor of geometry in the École polytechnique at Paris, and with Denon accompanied Napoleon Bonaparte on his memorable expedition to Egypt; one to make drawings of the architectural antiquities and sculpture, and the other the geographical delineations of that ancient country. He returned to Paris, where he assisted Denon in the publication of his antiquities. At his decease the pupils of the Polytechnique School erected this mausoleum to his memory, as a testimony of their esteem, after a design made by his friend, Monsieur Denon. The mausoleum is of Egyptian architecture, with which Denon had become familiarly acquainted. (en)
