- تُشير السينما المغربية إلى صناعة السينما في المغرب. في الفترة من 1958 و2018، تمكّن المغرب من إنتاج 372 فليما طويلا، كان عددها يتزايد من عشرية لأخرى إلى أن بلغ 20 فيلما طويلا في السنة، خصوصا بعد إحداث صندوق لدعم الإنتاجات السينمائية الوطنية ابتداء من سنة 1980، بالإضافة إلى إنتاج مئات الأفلام القصيرة والربورتاجات السينمائية المتنوعة وغيرها. وبلغ عدد مخرجي الأفلام الطويلة المغربية 172 في هذه الفترة، 149 ذكورا و23 إناثا. - The history of the cinema of Morocco dates back to "The Moroccan Goatherd" by Louis Lumière in 1897. During the French protectorate, films were produced and directed by French filmmakers, and in 1952, Orson Welles directed his Othello in the historic city of Essaouira. Since independence in 1956, Moroccan film directors and producers have produced a growing number of films, some of which have been met with growing international success. (en)
