- Die IAAF World Athletics Tour war ein von 2006 bis 2009 bestehender Zusammenschluss der bedeutendsten Leichtathletikmeetings der Welt unter der Führung der IAAF. Zur IAAF World Athletics Tour gehörten die sechs Meetings der IAAF Golden League, die sechs Sportfeste des IAAF Super Grand Prix, sowie zwölf weitere internationale und 26 nationale Meetings. Bei den Meetings können Punkte für das Finale gesammelt werden. Dieses fand 2006 bis 2008 im Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion in Stuttgart statt. 2009 fand es im Kaftanzoglio-Stadion in Thessaloniki zum letzten Mal statt. Ein weiteres in Deutschland stattfindendes Sportfest der IAAF World Athletics Tour war das ISTAF in Berlin. (de)
- The IAAF World Athletics Tour was an annual global circuit of one day track and field competitions organized by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF). Formed in 2006, it comprised two separate levels of athletics meetings: the first level being the IAAF Golden League and IAAF Super Grand Prix events, and the second comprising IAAF Grand Prix events and area permit meetings. It replaced the IAAF World Outdoor Meetings series, which had only started three years earlier, and rendered the IAAF Grand Prix II series defunct. The tour featured twenty-five of the world's premier athletics meetings comprising: six Golden League meetings, five Super Grand Prix meetings and fourteen Grand Prix meetings. There were also 25 or more area permit meetings every year which were run by one of the six continental athletics associations, which featured some point-scoring events. Athletes collected points at the meetings, dependent upon their finishing position, and the overall points leaders gained entry to the annual World Athletics Final. From 2010 onwards the World Athletics Tour is replaced by the IAAF Diamond League and IAAF World Challenge Meetings. (en)

- Lo IAAF World Athletics Tour (o semplicemente World Athletics Tour, spesso nella forma abbreviata WAT) è stato un circuito di competizioni internazionali di atletica leggera all'aperto organizzate annualmente dalla IAAF a partire dal 2006, anno in cui è diventato il contenitore dei circuiti di meeting IAAF. Era composto da quattro livelli separati di meeting: Golden League (il circuito principale e più prestigioso), Super Grand Prix, Grand Prix e , quest'ultimo gestito dalle federazioni continentali, e si chiudeva ogni anno a metà settembre con la World Athletics Final, che prevedevano lo svolgimento di un programma completo di gare su due giorni, per le quali si qualificavano gli atleti meglio piazzati nelle differenti classifiche di specialità. Nel 2010 il circuito è stato sostituito dalla Diamond League e dal World Challenge. (it)

- World Athletics Tour – cykl komercyjnych mityngów lekkoatletycznych, organizowanych pod egidą IAAF w latach 2003 - 2009. Od 2003 rozgrywany jest dwudniowy Światowy Finał IAAF będący podsumowaniem sezonu World Athletics Tour, który obejmuje wszystkie konkurencje rozgrywane na igrzyskach olimpijskich z wyjątkiem sztafet, biegu na 10 000 m, maratonu, chodu sportowego i wielobojów. Dodatkowo rozgrywany jest bieg na 3000 m. Punktacją World Athletics Tour objęte były mityngi zaliczane do czterech kategorii: Golden League (najbardziej prestiżowe i najlepiej płatne), Super Grand Prix, Grand Prix i Area Permit Meetings (do tej ostatniej grupy zaliczano m.in. polskie mityngi: Memoriał Janusza Kusocińskiego w Warszawie i Europejski Festiwal Lekkoatletyczny w Bydgoszczy).
