The term North Indian Culture officially describes the cultural heritage of the eight North Indian states of Punjab, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Chandigarh (Union Territory), Haryana, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh (which itself means "Northern State").
