| - الزمن المتري (بالإنجليزية: Metric time) هو قياس الفترات الزمنية باستخدام النظام المتري والذي يعتبر الثانية وحدة القياس الأساسية للوقت، ومضاعافاتها المكونة من سوابق النظام الدولي للوحدات مثل كيلو ثانية وميلي ثانية. القياس المتري لا يحدد التوقيت اليومي، حيث أن هناك مقاييس أخرى تقوم بهذه المحمة وإن كانت تعتمد أساسا علي وحدات النظام المتري لتحديد الوقت، كما أن هناك عدد من الوحدات الزمنية مثل الدقيقة والساعة واليوم، وهذه الوحدات مقبولة من قبل نظام الوحدات الدولي لكنها ليست جزء منه. - El temps mètric és la mesura de l'interval de temps utilitzant el sistema mètric decimal, que defineix el segon com la unitat bàsica de temps, i diverses unitats múltiples i submúltiples formats amb prefixos mètrics, com quilosegons i mil·lisegons. No defineix l'hora del dia, ja que és definida per diverses escales de temps, que poden basar-se en la definició del segon mètric. Il tempo metrico non definisce il tempo (cioè l'ora) del giorno, in quanto questo è definito da varie scale temporali, che possono essere basate sulla definizione metrica del secondo.
