| - Mauricio Leib Lasansky (Buenos Aires, 12 de octubre de 1914 - Iowa City, 2 de abril de 2012) fue un artista y educador argentino-estadounidense, sobre todo conocido por sus técnicas avanzadas en grabado a buril y estampa para una serie de 33 dibujos de lápiz de la década de 1960 titulado "Los Dibujos nazis". Lasansky, quien emigró de Argentina y se convirtió en ciudadano de los Estados Unidos, se estableció en la escuela de grabado de la Universidad de Iowa, que ofreció el primer programa de Maestría en Bellas Artes en el campo en los Estados Unidos. Sotheby's lo identifica como uno de los padres del grabado moderno. (es)
- Mauricio Leib Lasansky (October 12, 1914 – April 2, 2012) was an Argentine artist and educator known both for his advanced techniques in intaglio printmaking and for a series of 33 pencil drawings from the 1960s titled "The Nazi Drawings." Lasansky, who migrated to and became a citizen of the United States, established the school of printmaking at the University of Iowa, which offered the first Master of Fine Arts program in the field in the United States. Sotheby's identifies him as one of the fathers of modern printmaking. (en)
