The Kattenstoet (lit. "Festival of the Cats") is a parade in Ypres, Belgium, devoted to the cat. It has been held regularly on the second Sunday of May since 1955. Most recently, the 45th edition took place on May 13, 2018. The parade commemorates an Ypres tradition from the Middle Ages in which cats were thrown from the belfry tower of the Cloth Hall to the town square below.

- Le Kattenstoet (le Cortège des chats) est une parade qui a lieu à Ypres tous les trois ans le deuxième dimanche de mai : la 45e édition a eu lieu le 18 mai 2018. Cette parade commémore depuis 1955 un rite pratiqué au Moyen Âge et jusqu’en 1817 : de vrais chats étaient jetés du haut de la tour de halle. Désormais, les chats sont remplacés par des peluches. Cette fête est également l'occasion d'un cortège de Géants parmi lesquels figurent de nombreux chats.

- De Kattenstoet is een driejaarlijkse stoet in Ieper waar, zoals de naam dat laat vermoeden, de kat centraal staat. Ieper wordt, naast Vredesstad, ook Kattenstad genoemd. Er komen telkens enkele tienduizenden mensen kijken. Aansluitend op de stoet is er steeds heksenverbranding en kattenwerping, waar de stadsnar vanop het belfort pluchen katten naar de menigte beneden werpt, die op de Grote Markt reikhalzend staat te wachten om ze te vangen.
