- José Adriano Rodrigues Barata-Moura (Lisboa, 26 de junio de 1948) es un filósofo y cantautor portugués. A pesar de haber realizado todos sus estudios pre-universitarios en Francia, fue en Portugal donde obtuvo su licenciatura y posterior doctorado en filosofía en los años 1970 y 1980 respectivamente. Ha sido rector de la Universidad de Lisboa entre 1998 y 2006, y profesor de la facultad de letras de esa universidad desde 1986, donde fue también presidente del consejo directivo de 1981 a 1982. Miembro de varias sociedades científicas, fue presidente de la Internationale Gesellschaft für dialektische Philosophie, de 1996 a 2000, miembro de la dirección de la Internationale Gesellschaft Hegel-Marx für dialektisches Denken, desde 2000, también es miembro del Senat Convent für Europäische Phil (es)
- José Adriano Rodrigues Barata-Moura, GOSE (born 26 June 1948 in Lisbon) is a Portuguese philosopher, and a prestigious actual figure of the Portuguese culture. Dedicating his thought to many philosophical subjects such as politics, ethics and, most of all, to ontology. From May 7, 1998 until May 22, 2006, Barata-Moura served as the Rector of the University of Lisbon. He graduated from the University of Lisbon as a philosophy student in 1970. Nowadays, José Barata-Moura teaches Ancient Philosophy, the Philosophy of the German Idealism and Marxist Philosophy in the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon. Still very active in his philosophical career, José Barata-Moura is a specialist in the German Idealism Philosophy, specially on Kant and Hegel, without mentioning his vast knowledge (en)
