The 1999–2000 NBA season was the San Antonio Spurs' 24th season in the National Basketball Association, their 27th season as the Spurs, and their 33rd season as a franchise. After having won their first NBA championship in 1999, where they defeated the #8 seed New York Knicks in five games, the Spurs signed free agents Terry Porter, Samaki Walker and Chucky Brown during the off-season.
