The 1992–93 Montreal Canadiens season was the team's 76th season in the National Hockey League (NHL) and their 84th overall. Coming off of a disappointing second round playoff exit against the Boston Bruins during the 1991–92 season, the third-straight season Boston had defeated Montreal in the playoffs, the Canadiens were champions for the 1992–93 season. The 1992–93 Canadiens remain the last Canadian-based team to win the Stanley Cup, having won the 1993 Stanley Cup Finals.
