Ankaraspor wurde für diese Saison vom türkischen Fußballverband (TFF) ausgeschlossen und wird die nächste Saison in der 2. Liga teilnehmen. Am 7. Oktober 2009 wurde vom türkischen Fußballverband bekanntgegeben, dass alle 34 Spiele von Ankaraspor mit 0:3 bewertet werden. Ebenfalls in die 2. Liga mussten Denizlispor und Diyarbakırspor.
