Zoltan Paulinyi (Belo Horizonte - Brazil, 1977), Brazilian composer, modern and baroque violinist, one of the founders of Musicoop String Orchestra . After undergraduating in Physics at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, he started to dedicate his life to music, both in performance and teaching. He moved to Brasília in 2000 in order to assume his first violin position in the National Symphony Orchestra, where he started to compose his major works.He has played as soloist since 1987, aged 10, and as spalla in Festival Orchestras of Brasília and Juiz de Fora .

Currently he is artistic director for International Early Music Festival in Araripe, and SPES International Contemporary Music Series in Brasília, both for 2009. (en)
