- Zakia Khudadadi ou Zakia Khodadadi (ذکیه خدادادی en pachto) est une para-taekwondoïste afghane, née le 29 septembre 1998 dans la province du Herat. C'est la première femme de son pays à poursuivre une carrière internationale en ce sport. À 18 ans, elle remporte le Championnat africain de para-taekwondo en 2016. Cette performance lui permet de représenter l'Afghanistan aux Jeux paralympiques d'été de 2020, mais cette opportunité est un temps compromise après la prise du pouvoir par les talibans. Après avoir fui le pays, elle reçoit la permission du Comité international paralympique de participer aux Jeux. Ce faisant, elle devient la première femme afghane à participer dans une compétition sportive internationale après la victoire des talibans, et la première femme afghane à participer aux Jeux paralympiques depuis aux Jeux de 2004. She rose to prominence after winning the African International Parataekwondo Championship in 2016 at the age of 18. She represented Afghanistan at the 2020 Summer Paralympics. She was initially denied the opportunity to compete at her maiden Paralympics due to the Taliban takeover but she was later allowed by the International Paralympic Committee to compete in the event after being safely evacuated from Afghanistan. She was able to compete and became the first Afghan female Paralympic competitor to compete at the Paralympics after 17 years since Mareena Karim's participation at the 2004 Summer Paralympics. She also officially became the first Afghan female sportsperson to participate in an international sporting event after the Taliban takeover. (en)
