Christian Ward (born September 11, 1980) better known by his stage name Yung Berg, is an American rapper from Chicago. His first single was "Sexy Lady" which features R&B singer Junior. Yung Berg had been previously signed to DMX's Bloodline Records as Ice Berg. He is featured on the Exit Wounds soundtrack. His debut album Look What You Made Me will be released on August 12, 2008 and is a joint venture between Epic Records and Koch Records and includes guest appearances from Twista, Lil Wayne, Eve, Shawnna, Rich Boy, Jim Jones and DMX. The Almost Famous EP was released on July 24, 2007.

Bereits mit 15 Jahren unterschrieb er seinen ersten Plattenvertrag, der aber auf Betreiben seiner Eltern wieder aufgelöst wurde. Nachdem er erst einmal auf ein Militärinternat geschickt worden war, betrieb er im Anschluss intensiv seine Musikkarriere. Ab 2005 arbeitete er als Hypeman für die Rapperin Shawnna und schrieb und produzierte für andere Hip-Hop-Größen wie Eve und Juelz Santana. 2007 hatte er dann selbst seinen großen Durchbruch mit dem Titel Sexy Lady. Auf Anhieb kam er bis auf Platz 30 der offiziellen US-Charts und die zugehörige 5-Titel-EP Almost Famous brachte es in den Albumcharts bis auf Platz 32.
