York Outer will be a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It will elect one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. Following its review of parliamentary representation in North Yorkshire and the City of York, the Boundary Commission for England have recommended the creation of two new constituencies for the City of York which means the abolition of both Vale of York and City of York seats.
