Wrexham is a town and principal area in Wales. It is the largest town in North Wales and lies to the east of the region. It is situated between the Welsh mountains and the lower Dee valley, close to the border with Cheshire, England. It is the principal commercial, retail, educational and cultural centre in North Wales, and is regarded by many as the unofficial capital of North Wales.
