- El Barco de Mujeres a Gaza (Women's boat to Gaza) fue una iniciativa de la Coalición de la Flotilla de la Libertad en 2016 para desafiar el bloqueo naval israelí de la Franja de Gaza. Estaba formado por una tripulación totalmente femenina y el barco Zaytouna-Oliva. Partió de Barcelona el 14 de septiembre de 2016 y visitó Ajaccio, Córcega y Messina, Sicilia en el camino. El 5 de octubre de 2016, la Marina israelí interceptó el barco de mujeres a Gaza y detuvo a la tripulación, que fueron llevadas al puerto Ashdod. - The Women's Boat to Gaza (WBG) was an initiative by the in 2016 to challenge the Israeli naval blockade of the Gaza Strip. The WBG consisted of an entirely female crew and one ship, Zaytouna-Oliva. It started from Barcelona on 14 September 2016 and visited Ajaccio, Corsica and Messina, Sicily along the way. On 5 October 2016, the Israeli Navy intercepted the Women's Boat to Gaza and detained its crew members, who were taken to the Israeli port of Ashdod. The activists were subsequently deported to their home countries. (en)
