- Els wenatchi són un grup d'amerindis dels Estats Units que vivien a la regió vora de la confluència dels rius Columbia i a l'est de l'estat de Washington. Els wenatchis (o "p'squosa") no se'ls va donar terres de reserva per part del govern federal i, posteriorment, la major part dels actuals wenatchis es troben vivint a la , amb un nombre petit que viu a la reserva índia Yakama. parlaven (una variant de Salish) i menjaven salmó, arrel de camas, baies, i cérvols. La tribu wenatchi estaven estretament aliat amb la tribu Spokane. Segons el cens dels Estats Units de 2000 unes 36 persones s'identificaven com a wenatchi. (ca)
- Die Wenatchi (auch: Wenatchee) oder P'squosa bzw. Pisquose, womit sie frühe Pelzhändler bezeichneten, sind ein Indianerstamm in Washington. Heute bevorzugen sie die letztere Bezeichnung, doch hat sie sich noch nicht wieder durchgesetzt. Kulturell gehören sie zu den Binnen-Salish. Die Wenatchi lebten traditionell am Zusammenfluss von Columbia und Wenatchee River im Osten Washingtons. Heute leben sie überwiegend in der Colville Indian Reservation, einige in der Yakama Reservation. Der Name stammt aus dem und bedeutet etwa „Herauskommendes Wasser“. Damit war möglicherweise das aus dem beim heutigen Leavenworth kommende Wasser des Wenatchee gemeint. (de)

They spoke Interior Salish (a variant of Salish) and ate salmon, starchy roots like camas and biscuitroot, berries, deer, sheep and whatever else they could hunt or catch. The river that they lived on, the Wenatchee River, had one of the greatest runs of salmon in the world prior to numerous hydroelectric dams being put in on the downstream Columbia, pollution and other issues, and was their main food source.
