Das Polizistenduo enthält jeweils Toby Stephens und dazu Lucy Punch in der ersten Staffel, die im August 2010 erschien, sowie Miranda Raison in der zweiten Staffel vom August 2012. È ideata da Howard Overman e ambientata in una Londra contemporanea. La prima stagione è interpretata da Lucy Punch nel ruolo dell'ispettore Kate Bishop, e Toby Stephens nel ruolo dell'ispettore Jack Armstrong, una coppia di detective dai rapporti litigiosi. Jack è pigro e disordinato, ma affascinante, mentre Kate è efficiente e spesso esasperata dal comportamento di Jack. Il cast della stagione include anche Rory Kinnear, nei panni del marito di Kate, con il quale la donna si rivolge ad un consulente matrimoniale. Altri personaggi ricorrenti sono Naz, un eccentrico specialista della scena del crimine, e Tony, proprietario del bar nel quale i protagonisti vanno a ristorarsi. Jack is lazy and disorganised but charming, whereas Kate is efficient and usually exasperated by Jack's way of doing things. The show also starred Rory Kinnear, who plays Kate's husband Dan, with whom she is going through marriage counselling. Other recurring characters are Naz, an eccentric crime scene specialist, and Tony, owner of the bar at which the characters relax. The drama is set in contemporary London. (en)
