- Les plaques de matrícula dels vehicles de la República de Xipre es componen des del juny de 2003 d'una combinació de tres lletres seguides de tres xifres (per exemple, <b>ABC 123</b>), sent els caràcters de color negre sobre fons blanc tant a la placa anterior com posterior del vehicle. A l'espai central que separa la combinació de caràcters hi ha quatre dígits més petits que indiquen el mes i l'any en que ha estat registrat el vehicle per primer cop. S'utilitza un sistema de numeració incremental senzill i aleatori. Després de l'entrada de Xipre a la Unió Europea l'any 2004, les plaques segueixen el format de plaques de matrícula de la UE amb dimensions de 520 mm × 110 mm, afegint una franja blava a l'esquerra on hi trobem la bandera de la UE i el codi internacional del país, CY en blanc. Per a la combinació només s'utilitzen les dotze lletres, que coincideixen tant en l'alfabet llatí com en l'grec: A, B, E, H, K, M, N, P, T, X, Y i Z. (ca)
- Οι πινακίδες κυκλοφορίας οχημάτων της Κύπρου αποτελούνται από τρία γράμματα και τρεις αριθμούς και έχουν τη μορφή ΧΧΧ 000. Αυτό το σύστημα αρίθμησης άρχισε το 1990 και άλλαξε με τους νέους κανονισμούς του Μαρτίου του 2013. Οι νέου «ευρωπαϊκού» τύπου πινακίδες έχουν χρώμα άσπρο και στις μπροστά και στις πίσω. Περιλαμβάνουν τα 12 κοινά στο ελληνικό και λατινικό αλφάβητο γράμματα. Οι παλιές σταμάτησαν να εκδίδονται στη σειρά που ήταν και ξεκίνησαν οι νέες με τα ψηφία MAA. Tα γράμματα και oι αριθμοί που περιέχονται στις πινακίδες είναι τα: A,B,E,H,K,M,N,P,T,X,Y,Z, και 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0. Όταν οι πινακίδες περιέχουν αριθμό που έπεται γράμματος και που αποτελείται από ένα μόνο ψηφίο, αναγράφεται πριν από αυτόν ο αριθμός «0» δύο φορές και όταν περιέχουν αριθμό με δύο ψηφία, αναγράφεται πριν από αυτόν ο αριθμός «0» μία φορά. Στο αριστερό μέρος κάθε πινακίδας υπάρχει μπλέ πεδίο στο επάνω μέρος του οποίου υπάρχουν τα δώδεκα αστέρια της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης και από κάτω το διακριτικό σημείο της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας που αποτελείται από τα γράμματα «CY». Η σφραγίδα της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας τοποθετείται σε κάθε πινακίδα, στο μέσο των πινακίδων μίας σειράς αναγραφής των ψηφίων και από κάτω υπάρχει σημείο όπου αναγράφεται ο μήνας και το έτος πρώτης εγγραφής του οχήματος με τη μορφή 01/01. Στις πινακίδες δύο σειρών αναγραφής των ψηφίων τα στοιχεία αυτά βρίσκονται στο κάτω αριστερό άκρο, μετά το περιμετρικό μαύρο πλαίσιο. Οι πινακίδες είναι κατασκευασμένες από φύλλα αλουμινίου και έχουν οπισθο-αντανακλαστικές ιδιότητες. Γράμματα, αριθμοί και λοιπές ενδείξεις είναι ανάγλυφα. Κάθε εμπρός και κάθε πίσω πινακίδα οχήματος ταξί καθώς και φορτηγού οχήματος, έχουν χρώμα κίτρινο χωρίς το «Τ» που είχαν οι παλαιότερες. Οι πινακίδες εκμισθούμενου οχήματος έχουν χρώμα κόκκινο χωρίς το «Ζ». (el)

- La plaque d'immatriculation chypriote est un dispositif pour l'identification des véhicules chypriotes. Elle est composée de trois lettres et trois chiffres (ex ABC 123). Les dimensions des plaques d'immatriculation chypriotes sont similaires à leurs homologues britanniques. Actuellement, les caractères doivent être en noir. La plaque avant du véhicule est de fond blanc et la plaque arrière est jaune. Elles ont été rédigées dans le même type d'alphabet latin utilisé sur les plaques britanniques et sont faites en métal au lieu du plastique. Les plaques d'immatriculation des véhicules de location sont en lettres noires sur fond rouge. Elles comportent la lettre Z de façon systématique. Ces plaques spécifiques permettent aux Chypriotes d'identifier les véhicules de location généralement conduits par des touristes peu habitués à la conduite à gauche. - The vehicle registration plates of Cyprus are composed of three letters and three digits (e.g. ABC 123). A simple incremental numbering system is used; numbers run from 001 to 999 per letter sequence (alphabetic), so that, for example, the plate to be issued after MAA 999 would be MAB 001. However, registrants may be allowed to choose a number from available numbers in the extant letter sequence. The dimensions of Cyprus plates were similar to their British counterparts, and until 2004, characters were printed in black and in the same typeface as used on British plates. Plates from 2004 onwards are made of metal; between 1973 and 2004, they were made of plastic. A new law on vehicle registration plates came into force on 3 June 2013, altering the design. Plates made before that date are white on the front of the vehicle and yellow on the rear, whereas new plates are white both on the front and the rear and, in addition, carry the month and year the vehicle was first registered in any country. The new series began with the combination MAA 001, skipping the remaining Lxx combinations. Replacing old plates with new ones has been made mandatory for motorcycles, taxis and lorries. Taxi plates are yellow on both sides and rental car plates are red on both sides, but no longer carry the T and Z prefix, respectively. Following Cyprus' entry to the European Union in 2004, plates produced since have a blue band on the left edge with the Union's circle and stars in the top half and the country's international vehicle registration code CY in the bottom half and using German FE-Schrift as the typeface after 2013, replacing the DIN 1451 typeface previously in use as mandatory. - Het Cypriotisch kenteken bestaat uit 2 verschillende kentekenplaten, een witte kentekenplaat aan de voorzijde en een gele kentekenplaat aan de achterzijde. Dit is hetzelfde als in Groot-Brittannië. Hieraan is duidelijk te zien dat Cyprus vroeger een Britse kolonie was. De huurauto's hebben een rood kenteken. Op de nieuwe kentekenplaten aan de Griekse zijde staat CY met de Europese vlag. Het verschil met auto's in het door de Turken bezette Noord-Cyprus is, dat de gewone kentekenplaten een rode rand hebben, en de kentekenplaten van de huurauto's rood zijn met een witte rand.De politie aan de Turkse zijde hebben een zwarte kentekenplaat met witte letters en cijfers met een rode rand eromheen. De politie van de Souvereign Base Areas, Akrotiri en Dhekelia, heeft een kenteken met SBA erop. Daarnaast heeft de VN zijn eigen blauwe kentekenplaten, net zoals elke gespecialiseerde organisatie van de Verenigde Naties die op Cyprus aanwezig is. (nl)

Przednia tablica ma białe tło, a tylna żółte. Tablice rejestracyjne mają taką samą czcionkę, co brytyjskie, ale są zrobione z metalu, a nie z plastiku.
