- Le palais royal de Valladolid était la résidence officielle des rois d'Espagne pendant la période de présence de la cour dans la ville de Valladolid entre 1601 et 1606. Il était également une résidence temporaire du règne de Charles Quint à Isabelle II. Il fut le quartier général de Napoléon Ier pendant la guerre d'indépendance espagnole en janvier 1809 (depuis le 6 jusqu'au 17) où il a établi et d'où il est reparti à ses guerres d'Europe centrale. Fue habitado por los monarcas Carlos I, Felipe II y Felipe III y también por Napoleón durante la guerra de la Independencia. En él nació además el 8 de abril de 1605 el futuro rey Felipe IV. Ha llegado al presente con numerosas alteraciones estructurales de sus primitivas trazas, concluidas en torno a 1528. Actualmente, es la sede de la IV Subinspección General del Ejército de Tierra. In 1600 werd het overgenomen door de die het later verkocht aan Filips III van Spanje waardoor het een koninklijk paleis werd.
