- Unhalfbricking je třetí studiové album anglické folkrockové skupiny Fairport Convention. Vydalo jej v červenci roku 1969 hudební vydavatelství Island Records (poue ve Spojeném království, ve Spojených státech jej vydala společnost A&M Records). Deska vznikala v londýnských studiích Sound Techniques a Olympic Studios od ledna do dubna 1969 a jeho producenty byli Joe Boyd a Simon Nicol. Vedle vlastních písní nahrála skupina na album také několik coververzí od Boba Dylana. Jde o poslední album kapely, na kterém hrál bubeník , který krátce po dokončení nahrávání zahynul při autonehodě. (cs)

La chanson Who Knows Where the Time Goes?, une composition de Sandy Denny, a déjà été enregistrée par les Strawbs sur leur album Sandy Denny and the Strawbs: All Our Own Work enregistré en 1967 au Danemark et publié en 1973, avant d'être reprise par Sandy Denny et Fairport Convention sur le présent disque. - Unhalfbricking is the third album by the British folk rock band Fairport Convention and their second album released in 1969. It is seen as a transitional album in their history and marked a further musical move away from American influences towards more traditional English folk songs that had begun on their previous album, What We Did on Our Holidays and reached its peak on the follow-up, Liege & Lief, released later the same year. The album features several Bob Dylan songs, which he had not yet released. It also features what is arguably Sandy Denny's most notable achievement as a songwriter with the song "Who Knows Where the Time Goes?", which has been covered by many other performers and is now regarded as a classic. The only traditional song on the album, "A Sailor's Life", is seen as pivotal in the development of English folk rock music. Changes in the line-up of the band, due not only to its musical direction but also to external events, mark this album as a turning point in the band's history. 1969 was a prolific year for Fairport Convention; from What We Did on Our Holidays to Liege & Lief within twelve months represented a major development. The album also gave the band their first UK chart success, reaching number 12 in the UK album chart (the second highest position in the band's entire career), while the single release, "Si Tu Dois Partir", achieved number 21 in the UK singles chart. Genesis Hall, il primo dei due pezzi del chitarrista Richard Thompson, è un commovente omaggio ai senzatetto e sbandati londinesi. Si tu dois partir, cantata in francese dalla Denny, è la rielaborazione in stile cajun fatta dal gruppo del celebre brano di Bob Dylan, If You Gotta Go, Go Now, questa cover fu anche l'unico brano dell'album che entrò, anche se per breve tempo, in classifica. Autopsy è un brano suonato e cantato dalla sola Sandy Denny. A Sailor's Life, un pezzo tradizionale in cui spicca il notevole apporto vocale della cantante (con il violino di Swarbrick come principale supporto). Cajun Woman è un blues di Richard Thompson, cantato da Sandy Denny in cui spicca in sottofondo la slide guitar di Richard. Who Knows Where the Time Goes rappresenta uno dei cavalli di battaglia della Denny (che aveva registrato già in precedenza una versione di questo brano nel gruppo degli Strawbs). Percy's Song di Bob Dylan, è l'ultimo (ed unico nel disco) contributo di Ian Matthews prima del suo definitivo abbandono dal gruppo. Million Dollar Bash è un'altra cover di Bob Dylan. (it)

På albumet finns dessutom hela tre låtar av Bob Dylan, varav en, en fransk version av "If You Gotta Go, Go Now", är Fairport Conventions enda singelhit. Den nådde 19:e-platsen på den engelska listan.
