- The Uganda national rugby union team are a national sporting side of Uganda, representing them at rugby union. Rugby union was introduced by the British during colonial rule and Uganda played their first international game against Kenya in 1958. They have not yet qualified for the Rugby World Cup. Fondata nel 1958, opera sotto la giurisdizione dell'Uganda Rugby Union ed è inquadrata nelle nazionali in via di sviluppo (Developmental) dall'organismo internazionale World Rugby. Essa non ha mai preso parte ad alcuna edizione della Coppa del Mondo di rugby, ma partecipa regolarmente alla Rugby Africa Cup, il campionato continentale, della quale si è aggiudicata il titolo nel 2007.Altre competizioni minori che disputa con regolarità sono l'Elgon Cup, contesa annualmente col Kenya, e, più recentemente, la Victoria Cup. I giocatori che compongono la squadra nazionale sono comunemente noti col soprannome di The Rugby Cranes, in italiano: "le gru del rugby". (it)
- Сборная Уганды по регби (англ. Uganda national rugby union team) представляет Уганду в международных соревнованиях по регби-15 высшего уровня. Команда выступает на международной арене с 1958 года, её делами управляет Угандийский регбийный союз. Сборная ни разу не принимала участие в финальной части чемпионатов мира. Среди выдающихся тренеров сборной выделяется Честер Уильямс, выигравший как игрок в 1995 году со сборной ЮАР домашний чемпионат мира. Ежегодно сборные Уганды и Кении разыгрывают кубок Элгона. В 2007 году сборная Уганды выиграла кубок Африки, а сейчас выступает в дивизионе 1A турнира. Коллектив проводит домашние матчи на стадионе «Кьядондо Рагби Клаб». По состоянию на 9 сентября 2019 года команда занимает 41-е место в мировом рейтинге Международного совета регби. (ru)
