- El ARM Usumacinta (A-412), originalmente USS Frederick (LST-1184), es un buque de desembarco de tanques de la clase Newport de la Armada de México asignado en 2002. Previamente estuvo activo en la marina de guerra de Estados Unidos de 1970 a 2002. Fue colocada la quilla en 1968. Fue botado el casco en 1969. Y fue asignado en 1970. Sirvió en la guerra de Vietnam de 1971 a 1975. Fue desactivado en 2002 y vendido a México. Actualmente el ARM Usumacinta presta servicio en la marina de este país. (es)
- USS Frederick (LST-1184) was a Newport-class tank landing ship which replaced the traditional bow door-design tank landing ships (LSTs) of the United States Navy. The ship was named after the city of Frederick, Maryland and Frederick County, Maryland. The vessel entered service in 1970 with the United States Pacific Fleet and saw service during the Vietnam War, and the Persian Gulf War earning three battle stars. The ship was decommissioned in 2002 and put up for sale. Frederick was acquired by the Mexican Navy the same year as part of the Security Assistance Program and entered service in December 2002 renamed ARM Usumacinta. Usumacinta has since taken part in three RIMPAC multi-national naval exercises as well as provide humanitarian support following earthquakes in Oaxaca and Chiapas. (en)
