- La Navegació Turn-by-turn és una característica d'alguns dispositius de navegació GPS on les directives per a la ruta seleccionada són presentades contínuament a l'usuari en la forma d'instruccions parlades i visuals. El sistema manté l'usuari sobre la millor ruta a la destinació escollida, i és sovint actualitzat segons canviin els factors com el trànsit i les condicions de la carretera. Els sistemes Turn-by-turn utilitzen típicament una veu electrònica per a informar l'usuari quan ha de girar, el nom de carrer, i la distància a la intersecció on ha de girar. Matemàticament, la navegació Turn-by-turn està basada en el problema del camí més curt dins la teoria de grafs, que examina com per identificar el camí entre dos punts d'una una xarxa gran, d'acord amb certs criteris (el més curt, el més barat, el més ràpid, etc.) (ca)

O sistema mantém o usuário atualizado sobre a melhor rota para o destino e é frequentemente atualizado de acordo com fatores de mudança, como tráfego e condições da estrada. Os sistemas de curva a curva normalmente usam uma voz eletrônica para informar ao usuário se deve virar à esquerda ou à direita, o nome da rua e a distância até a próxima curva. Matematicamente, a navegação passo a passo é baseada no problema do caminho mais curto dentro da teoria dos grafos, que examina como identificar o caminho que melhor atende a alguns critérios (mais curto, mais barato, mais rápido, etc.) entre dois pontos em uma grande rede. - Покрокова навігація - це функція, що вбудована у деякі навігаційні пристрої GPS, де вказівки для обраного маршруту поступово відображаються користувачеві у вигляді візуальних або мовних інструкцій. Покрокові системи зазвичай використовують електронний голос, щоб повідомити користувачеві куди потрібно їхати та повертати, назву вулиці та відстань до повороту. Система постійно інформує користувача про найкращий маршрут до зазначеного пункту і часто оновлюється відповідно до факторів що постійно змінюються, таких як дорожній трафік та умови. Математично, покрокова навігація базується на задачі найкоротшого шляху що у свою чергу базується на теорії графів, яка досліджує як визначити шлях між двома точками у великій мережі, що буде найкраще відповідає заданим критеріям (найкоротший, найдешевший, найшвидший тощо).
