- La Volta a Bulgària és una cursa ciclista que es disputa a Bulgària. La cursa es creà el 1924, però no es comença a córrer regularment fins al 1955. Forma part del calendari de l'UCI Europa Tour. A partir del 2017 es va dividir en dues curses, nord i sud, adquirint també l'antic Black Sea Cycling Tour. (ca)

Das Etappenrennen, welches seinen Termin typischerweise im September hat und meistens sieben oder mehr Etappen umfasst, wurde bereits im Jahre 1924 zum ersten Mal ausgetragen, alljährlich jedoch erst seit 1955. Seit Einführung der UCI Europe Tour in der Saison 2005 ist das Rennen Teil dieser Rennserie und in die Kategorie 2.2 eingestuft. Se comenzó a disputar como carrera amateur en 1924 hasta 1999. Posteriormente estuvo catalogada de categoría 2.5 hasta la creación de los Circuitos Continentales UCI que se encuadró en el UCI Europe Tour, dentro la categoría 2.2 (última categoría del profesionalismo). Il est par conséquent ouvert à d'éventuelles équipes continentales professionnelles bulgares, aux équipes continentales, à des équipes nationales et à des équipes régionales ou de clubs. Les UCI ProTeams (première division) ne peuvent pas participer. Il n'y a pas eu d'épreuve entre 1925 et 1934, 1936 et 1948, 1951 et 1954. L'édition 2014 est annulée. En 2017, le Tour de Bulgarie se compose de deux courses de trois jours, « Tour de Bulgarie-Nord » et « Tour de Bulgarie-Sud », donnant chacune lieu à un classement général. (fr)

Creato nel 1924, fu disputato per molto tempo con frequenza irregolare e rimase riservato ai dilettanti fino al 1999. Dal 2000 è aperto anche ai professionisti e dal 2005 fa parte del calendario dell'UCI Europe Tour come prova di classe 2.2. (it)
- The Tour of Bulgaria is an annual international professional bicycle race held in Bulgaria that was first staged on 21 August 1924. It is part of UCI Europe Tour and is category 2.2. The race covers about 1,500 kilometres and lasts two weeks. As of 2017, 66 editions were held. The longest length of the race was in 1949 – 1905 km. The course changes every year, but the race has always started in Sofia. In the race, cyclists from more than 40 countries have been competing. During the Cold War, the Tour of Bulgaria was one of the most prestigious cycling races in Europe, drawing skilled cyclists from the countries that traditionally produce strong racers, such as Italy, France and Netherlands. Although after the changes in 1989 the race lost some of its prestige for the cyclists in the peloton, nowadays it becomes more and more attractive for them. For example, in 2010 Francisco Mancebo who finished second in the 2004 Vuelta a España and fourth in the 2005 Tour de France, competed in it but only succeeded to finish third after the Bulgarian and Ricardo Mestre. In 2017, the race was split into two three-day races based on geographical location. (en)

De koers maakt deel uit van de UCI Europe Tour en heeft een classificatie van 2.2. De eerste editie vond plaats in 1924 en telde twee winnaars: de Bulgaren en . Vanaf 1955 wordt de wedstrijd jaarlijks verreden. Recordwinnaar is de Bulgaar Ivaïlo Gabrovski met vijf zeges. De eerste Nederlander die de koers won was Fedor den Hertog in 1970. In 1993 kreeg hij in een opvolgende landgenoot. In 2017 bestond de Ronde van Bulgarije uit twee losstaande driedaagse wedstrijden: de Ronde van Bulgarije Noord en de Ronde van Bulgarije Zuid, ieder met een eigen eindklassement. (nl)

Rekordzistą pod względem zwycięstw w klasyfikacji generalnej jest kolarz gospodarzy Iwajło Gabrowski – pięć triumfów. Pięciokrotnie wyścig wygrywali polscy kolarze.
