- The Circle est une émission de téléréalité britannique produite par Studio Lambert et Motion Content Group. Initialement diffusée sur Channel 4 à partir du 18 septembre 2018, elle est à partir de 2020 reprise dans trois autres pays : les États-Unis, dont la première saison est diffusée à partir du 1er janvier 2020 sur Netflix, le Brésil et la France. L'émission se présente comme un jeu basé sur les réseaux sociaux, avec pour idée principale que « n'importe qui peut être n'importe qui ». Le format est comparable à celui de Big Brother et de Catfish, mais aussi aux systèmes de notation de l'épisode « Nosedive » de la série Black Mirror. (fr)
- The Circle is a reality competition television franchise, first broadcast in the United Kingdom on Channel 4 in 2018, and subsequently syndicated internationally by Netflix. Each version in the franchise features contestants who live in different apartments in a complex that is isolated from the outside world. The players are continuously monitored during their stay in the apartments by cameras as well as personal audio microphones. Throughout the course of the competition, they are eliminated, or "blocked", until only one remains and wins the cash prize. As of 8 December 2022, four countries (UK, US, Brazil and France) have launched their installments to the franchise with a total of five competitions in the countries aired. All versions of the show are filmed in an apartment block in Salford in the United Kingdom. (en)

Il programma è stato trasmesso per la prima volta su Channel 4 nel 2018 e successivamente è stato distribuito a livello internazionale da Netflix. Lo show propone una serie di concorrenti che vivono nello stesso complesso di appartamenti, completamente isolati dal mondo esterno, ma ognuno nel suo senza avere la possibilità di incontrare gli altri partecipanti. I giocatori vengono costantemente monitorati da telecamere e microfoni, e possono comunicare solamente tramite un social media ad attivazione vocale chiamato "The Circle".
