- Tashi Dorjé tibétain : བཀྲ་ཤིས་རྡོ་རྗེ, Wylie : bkra shis rdo rje (aussi connu sous son nom de scène chinois Qu Yuan) (né le 29 novembre 1966 à Chamdo) est un ténor tibétain formé à l'opéra italien. Il se produit en soliste avec Shen Yun Performing Arts sous son nom de scène. Après avoir obtenu un diplôme de médecine et pratiquer en tant que médecin au Tibet rural, il est auditionné pour rejoindre un groupe d'arts du spectacle. Il étudie le chant à Pékin, et devient soliste à l'Orchestre national de Chine. Dorje est allé ensuite à l'Europe, et a poursuivi sa formation avec des chanteurs d'opéra célèbres, y compris et Carlo Bergonzi. Dorjé a chanté en Chine, en Espagne, en Grande-Bretagne, en Italie, en Suède et aux États-Unis, et a remporté un concours de chant à Paris, à Florence et à New York. - Tashi Dorje (also known as Yuan Qu) (born 29 November 1966) is a Tibetan tenor trained in Italian opera. He performs as a soloist with Shen Yun Performing Arts under his Chinese name, Yuan Qu. Dorje was born in Chamdo, Eastern Tibet. After getting a medical degree and practicing as a doctor in rural Tibet, he auditioned to join a performing arts group. He studied singing in Beijing, and became a soloist with the Chinese National Orchestra. Dorje subsequently went to Europe, training with famed operatic singers including and Carlo Bergonzi. Dorje has performed around the world, including in China, Spain, Great Britain, Italy, Sweden and the United States, and has won singing competitions in Paris, Florence and New York. He speaks Tibetan, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, and English. (en)
