- Supernova es una banda de pop chilena compuesta por Constanza Luer y Constanza Lewin, y que fue creada por la dupla de productores Cristián Heyne y Koko Stambuk, conocidos como "Packman", quienes fueron influenciados directamente por el fenómeno de las boy band y el pop adolescente de finales de la década de 1990. Tuvo dos formaciones entre sus años de actividad, lanzando su álbum debut Supernova en 1999 con las primeras integrantes y un segundo álbum llamado Retráctate en 2002 con el segundo trío de integrantes, además con este segundo disco lograron una nominación a los Grammy Latino. En 2007 hicieron un reencuentro fugaz para realizar una presentación en vivo con la agrupación original, luego esto se volvería a repetir con presentaciones esporádicas los siguientes años. (es)

The band has released three full-length albums, numerous singles and EPs and were part of the original 1995 Vans Warped Tour line-up. They are perhaps best known by wider audiences for their song "Chewbacca", which was featured on the soundtrack to Kevin Smith's 1994 independent film Clerks. They are also known for the song "Up & Down", which was performed in 2007 on the Nick Jr. children's show Yo Gabba Gabba! (en)
- I Supernova è un gruppo musicale pop cileno formato nel 1999 da quattro adolescenti. Il gruppo musicale Supernova nasce nel 1999 e segue il successo di molti gruppi interamente femminili dedicati per gli adolescenti. Composto da quattro adolescenti cilene il loro primo album capitanato dal primo singolo uscito Maldito Amor ottiene un grande successo in patria e un discreto successo anche all'estero seguirà anche Tu y yo. Due anni dopo segue un altro album nel quale verranno incluse le canzoni e Se te olvida ed Herida, dopo aver intrapreso il loro primo tour la band perderà popolarità e sarà destinata a scomparire nei primi anni duemila (si scioglieranno nel 2003). Ultimamente (2007-2009) è stata ripresentata in cile in numerosi programmi televisivi. Nel 2002 sono state nominate ai Grammy Latino nella categoria "Miglior album pop di gruppo vocale". (it)
