The Summary Jurisdiction Act 1884 (47 & 48 Vict c 43) was an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. Courtney Ilbert described this Act as an "expurgatory Act". The whole Act was repealed by section 132(1) of, and Schedule 6 to, the Magistrates' Courts Act 1952.
