- Giulești-Valentin Stănescu Stadium was a football stadium in Bucharest, Romania. It was the home stadium of FC Rapid București for almost 80 years. It was named after Valentin Stănescu, the coach that helped Rapid to win its first title, but was most commonly known as the "Giulești Stadium", after the name of the neighborhood in which it was located. Landmarks near the stadium include Podul Grant, Giulești Theatre and Prunaru market. Gara de Nord is not far away from the stadium and the Grivița Railway Yards are right next to it. The stadium was entirely demolished in 2019, and has been replaced with the Rapid Arena, a new all-seater stadium that opened in 2022. (en)

Het stadion werd geopend op 10 juni 1939, toen de CFR (Căile Ferate Române - Roemeense Spoorwegen) vierde dat 70 jaar geleden de eerste spoorweg werd geopend. In die tijd was het stadion erg modern voor Roemenië en was ook gebaseerd op het Highburystadion in Londen. Onder de gasten bij de opening waren Carol II van Roemenië, Michael van Roemenië en Paul I van Griekenland. Officieel heette het stadion Stadionul Giulesti-Valentin Stănescu, naar de coach die Rapid Boekarest naar de eerste titel leidde, in 1967. Het is echter beter bekend als alleen Stadionul Giulești naar de arbeiderswijk in Boekarest waar het zich bevindt nabij het , , Gara de Nord en het spoorwegemplacement . Het stadion bood plaats aan 19.100 bezoekers. Op de plek van het voormalige stadion staat nu het nieuwe Giuleștistadion. (nl)
