- Stabat Mater speciosa (latinsky Stála matka krásná) je latinský církevní hymnus, tvořící určitý protipól církevního hymnu Stabat Mater dolorosa. Hymnus líčí radost Panny Marie po narození Krista (oproti hymnu Stabat Mater dolorosa, který líčí žal Panny Marie při Kristově ukřižování). Pravděpodobně je od téhož autora (tj. údajně papež Inocenc III., pravděpodobněji ale básník Jacopone da Todi). Hymnus líčí pocity Panny Marie poté, co se jí narodil Ježíš Kristus. Tento hymnus se netěší takové pozornosti hudebníků jako Stabat Mater dolorosa, jsou známa pouze tři zhudebnění. Autorem prvního je Ferenc Liszt (součást oratoria Christus z roku 1866), autorem druhého je (pochází z roku 1896) a autorem třetího je Zdeněk Pololáník (2019), který text zhudebnil pro ansámbl ze Slavkova u Brna. - "Stabat Mater speciosa" ("The beautiful mother stood") is a Catholic hymn to Mary about the Nativity of Jesus. It first appeared in a 1495 edition of the Italian poems of Jacopone da Todi, along with "Stabat Mater dolorosa", but "Stabat Mater speciosa" was almost forgotten until it was re-transcribed in 1852 in the Poètes Franciscains en Italie au Treizième siècle in Paris. It has since been viewed as one of the tenderest Marian hymns and one of the seven greatest Latin hymns. It has become part of standard oratorios (e.g. Franz Liszt's Christus), and has given rise to various Christmas carols. (en)
