- سيرة الظاهر بيبرس وتعرف أيضاً بـالسيرة الظاهرية هي قصة شعبية خيالية طويلة تروي حياة السلطان المملوكي الظاهر بيبرس البندقداري وأعماله البطولية التي قام بها ذوداً عن الإسلام وتصدياً لأعدائه من الصليبيين والمغول. من المعتقد أن الملحمة التي تختلط فيها الوقائع التاريخية بالخيال قد كتبت بالقاهرة في العصر المملوكي، وتطورت ونمت عبر السنين إلى أن أخذت شكلها النهائي في بدايات العصر العثماني ، وهي فترة تمتد إلي نحو قرنين ونصف من الزمان تعاقب خلالها مالا يقل عن 45 سلطان.
