- Septoplastia, o alternativamente resección septal submucosa y reconstrucción septal, es un procedimiento quirúrgico correctivo que se realiza para enderezar un tabique nasal desviado, siendo el tabique nasal la división entre las dos fosas nasales. Idealmente, el tabique debe estar por el centro de la nariz. Cuando se desvía hacia una de las fosas, estrecha esa fosa e impide el flujo de aire. - Septumcorrectie is het rechtzetten van het neustussenschot. Het neustussenschot verdeelt het inwendige van de neus in twee helften. De voorzijde bestaat uit kraakbeen en zorgt voor de flexibiliteit van het inwendige van de neus. De dieper gelegen achterzijde bestaat uit bot. Het neustussenschot kan door een of door een ongeval scheef in de neus gaan staan. Behalve neusverstopping kan er ook hoofdpijn, gelokaliseerd in het voorhoofd of rond de ogen ontstaan. Ook steeds terugkerende bijholteontstekingen kunnen wijzen op het scheefstaan van het neustussenschot. Als medicijnen zoals neussprays of antibiotica geen hulp bieden kan besloten worden tot een septumcorrectie, of een andere ingreep die meer ruimte in de neus geeft en de luchtweerstand normaliseert. Een scheef septum kan gepaard gaan met een van buiten zichtbare scheve neus, maar dit hoeft niet.De operatie wordt uitgevoerd onder narcose en duurt 20 minuten tot een half uur. Voor de operatie worden wattenstroken in de neus geschoven. Deze zijn gedrenkt in een oplossing die het slijmvlies van de neus doet slinken, zoals van cocaïne, zodat er een beter zicht wordt verkregen in de neus. Bij de operatie wordt eerst het slijmvlies aan beide kanten losgemaakt van het neustussenschot. Tussen de beide slijmvliesbladen wordt de correctie uitgevoerd. Na het weghalen van reepjes kraakbeen kan het septum worden verplaatst in de gewenste richting. Aan het eind van de operatie wordt de neus getamponeerd met kunststof dat drie dagen blijft zitten. - La settoplastica è un intervento chirurgico effettuato in anestesia generale con lo scopo di raddrizzare il setto nasale. È un'operazione effettuata da un dottore specialista in otorinolaringoiatria della durata di circa mezz'ora e prevede un ricovero ospedaliero di tre giorni (in media). Ad intervento effettuato il paziente riporta, per tutta la durata del ricovero e spesso anche un paio di giorni in più, due tamponi oppure due placche all'interno delle narici, utili a bloccare la perdita di sangue (e di muco). Le ferite interne infatti non vengono cucite con dei punti, al massimo uno, che si staccherà da solo nella maggior parte dei casi oppure rimosso alla visita di controllo.Esternamente il naso non presenta cicatrici temporanee o permanenti, né segni dell'intervento chirurgico, a parte un leggero gonfiore che sparirà nel giro di 10 giorni. Le tecniche chirurgiche, oggi sempre meno invasive, garantiscono danni minimi e tempi rapidi di recupero, ma in ogni caso due aspetti fondamentali del periodo post-operatorio sono costituiti dalla terapia e dal “follow up” di controllo, per monitorare il processo di guarigione. In questa fase è molto utile l'utilizzo dell'acido ialuronico, sostanza naturalmente presente nel nostro organismo, e che garantisce idratazione ed elasticità ai tessuti, oltre a svolgere un'importante azione biostimolante di “remodelling”.Somministrazioni in forma di nebulizzazione nasale di sodio ialuronato (acido ialuronico) 9 mg APM - Alto Peso Molecolare, per mezzo di appositi strumenti, rendono perciò più rapido e con minori disagi il recupero: di solito un trattamento di 2 settimane è sufficiente per la completa guarigione della mucosa. Skrzywienie wynika najczęściej z nieprawidłowości tkanki chrzęstnej.
