- Das Royal Artillery Museum (offizieller Name des Museums: Firepower - The Royal Artillery Museum) war ein Militärmuseum im Südosten Londons. Es befand sich im Stadtteil Woolwich und informierte über die Geschichte der Royal Artillery und des Royal Arsenal. Zudem beherbergte es eine Reihe historischer und moderner Waffen. Es schloss am 8. Juli 2016, soll aber gemäß seinem Internetauftritt im Frühjahr 2022 in Wiltshire wiedereröffnet werden. Das Museum befand sich in einigen ehemaligen Gebäuden des Royal Arsenal, einer ehemaligen Rüstungs-, Munitionsabdichtungs- und Sprengstoffversuchsfirma in London. Der Vorläufer des Royal Artillery Museum war die Royal Military Repository, welche im Mai 1778 eingerichtet wurde. Nach einem Feuer, dem das Royal Military Repository zum Opfer fiel, wurden 1802 die Ausstellungsstücke in einem Vorläufer des heutigen Museums aufbewahrt. - The Royal Artillery Museum, which was one of the world's oldest military museums, was first opened to the public in Woolwich in south-east London in 1820. It told the story of the development of artillery through the ages by way of a collection of artillery pieces from across the centuries. The museum had its roots in an earlier institution, the Royal Military Repository (established in Woolwich in the 1770s as a training collection for cadets of the Royal Military Academy); items which were once displayed in the Repository form the nucleus of the Royal Artillery Museum collection. Following the closure in 2016 of the museum, branded since 2001 as 'Firepower – The Royal Artillery Museum', its collection has been placed in storage pending the establishment of a new Royal Artillery Museum. The Royal Artillery Museum collections are designated as being of national and international significance by Arts Council England. (en)
- Firepower - Museu da Artilharia Real (em inglês: Firepower: The Royal Artillery Museum) é um antigo museu localizado em Woolwich, um bairro localizado na região sul da cidade de Londres. O local foi aberto para a visitação em 2001 e fechado no dia 8 de julho de 2016. O local estava localizado no antigo prédio da artilharia real britânica, conhecido como Woolwich Arsenal. De acordo com historiadores, o local era o centro da fabricação de munições dos britânicos na primeira guerra mundial, mas devido aos bombardeios e as estratégias de guerra aérea dos alemães , a produção acabou sendo espalhada para vários locais do país.
