Důležité byly především jeho snahy o podchycení všech rukopisných legend v belgických knihovnách (Fasti Sanctorum). Po Rosweydově smrti byl pověřen přehlédnutím jeho díla nacházejícího se z velké části v rukopisu Jean Bolland a to dalo důležitý podnět práci bollandistů. (cs)
