- El Obispado de Chiemsee (en alemán, Bistum Chiemsee, en latín, Dioecesis Chiemensis) fue una antigua y pequeña diócesis de la Iglesia católica cuya sede estaba situada en los monasterios construidos en las islas del lago bávaro de Chiemsee, en Alemania. La diócesis fue establecida en 1216 desgajando 10 parroquias del Arzobispado de Salzburgo y desapareció en 1808 como resultado de la secularización de territorios eclesiásticos en el Sacro Imperio Romano Germánico. El territorio de la diócesis de Chiemsee fue repartido entre la Archidiócesis de Múnich y Frisinga y la Archidiócesis de Salzburgo por mandato del Concordato de 1817 entre el Reino de Baviera y la Santa Sede. En enero de 2009, el Obispado de Chiemsee fue reconstituido por el Papa Benedicto XVI como Sede Titular, en la actualidad (2010), vacante. (es)
