- Das Bahnbetriebswerk Plochingen (Kurzform: Bw Plochingen) ist ein Bahnbetriebswerk der DB Regio AG in Plochingen. Das Bw liegt westlich des Bahnhofs neben den nach Stuttgart führenden Bahngleisen und ist von der Straße aus über die Zufahrt zum Neckarhafen erreichbar. Es ist für die Wartung der Triebzüge der S-Bahn Stuttgart zuständig. Des Weiteren werden auch noch Triebzüge des Regionalverkehrs Württemberg betreut. Eröffnet wurde das jetzige Bw Plochingen mit der S-Bahn Stuttgart im Jahr 1978. Zuvor stand an etwa derselben Stelle der Ringlokschuppen des alten Bw Plochingen. (de)
- The Railway depot Plochingen (dt. Bahnbetriebswerk Plochingen) (short form: Bw Plochingen) is a depot of the DB Regio AG in Plochingen. The depot is located west of the railway station next to the railway tracks leading to Stuttgart and can be reached from the road via the access road to the Neckarharbor. It is responsible for the maintenance of the Trains of the S-Bahn Stuttgart. Furthermore, it also looks after multiple units of the Regionalverkehr Württemberg. The current depot with the Stuttgart S-Bahn was opened in 1978, after the roundhouse of the old Plochingen depot had been located at about the same place. (en)
