- Ο Πάπας Κελαδίων ήταν ο 9ος Πάπας και Πατριάρχης της Αλεξάνδρειας, που αρχιεράτευσε από το 152 έως το 166. Ο Κελαδίων γεννήθηκε στην Αλεξάνδρεια της Αιγύπτου και αγαπήθηκε πολύ από τους ανθρώπους ως δίκαιος και σοφός. Εκλέχθηκε Πατριάρχης το 152 κατά τη διάρκεια της βασιλείας του Αντωνίνου Πίου. Όταν ανέλαβε την ηγεσία, φρόντιζε τα φυτά που του άφησαν οι προκάτοχοί του. Οι μέρες του ήταν ειρηνικές και τίποτα δεν ενοχλούσε την ηρεμία των Χριστιανών. Πατριάρχευσε για δεκατέσσερα χρόνια, έξι μήνες και τρεις ημέρες και απεβίωσε στη βασιλεία του Μάρκου Αυρηλίου και του Λούκιου Βέρου, στις 9 του μηνός (16 Ιουλίου), το έτος 166 μ.Χ. (el)
- Celadio, Celadión o Cladiano (en griego Keladionus), según menciona Eusebio de Cesarea, en su Historia Eclesiástica, fue el noveno obispo, patriarca de Alejandría y Papa de la Sede de San Marcos entre los años 152 a 166. Sabio y virtuoso en su vida, sucedió al papa Marcos II de Alejandría después de su muerte el octavo día de Tubah, el 16 de enero del 152 y continuó enseñando, predicando y mejorando la vida de su gente. Murió en Alejandría durante el reinado de Aurelio y Lucio Vero, el 9 de Epip (16 de julio), en el año 166. Fue envuelto y sepultado con sus padres, los patriarcas, junto a los restos de San Marcos en la iglesia de Bucalis. Celadio es venerado como santo por la Iglesia copta. (es)

He was elected Patriarch in 152 during the reign Antoninus Pius. When he took over the leadership, he tended the plants left to him by his predecessors. His days were peaceful, and nothing troubled the serenity of the Christians. He reigned for fourteen years, six months, and three days, and died during the reign of Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus, on the 9th of Epip (16 July), in the year 166 AD. (en)
