- Pop icon (ελληνικά: ποπ είδωλο) λέγεται μια διασημότητα, ένας χαρακτήρας η ένα αντικείμενο του οποίου η έκθεση στην λαϊκή κουλτούρα θεωρείται ότι αποτελεί καθοριστικό χαρακτηριστικό μιας δεδομένης κοινωνίας ή εποχής. Η χρήση του όρου είναι σε μεγάλο βαθμό υποκειμενική, δεδομένου ότι δεν υπάρχουν οριστικά αντικειμενικά κριτήρια. Η κατηγοριοποίηση συνδέεται συνήθως με στοιχεία όπως η μακροζωία της φήμης, η πανταχού παρούσα εικόνα και η διάκριση.
