- Der Polizei SV Berlin (Polizei-Sport-Verein Berlin e.V., PSV, 1949–1951: VfL Sportfreunde Berlin) ist ein traditionsreicher Berliner Sportverein; er gehört zu den größten Vereinen der Hauptstadt. Der jeweilige amtierende Polizeipräsident ist gleichzeitig Ehrenpräsident des PSV und nimmt an ausgewählten Veranstaltungen teil, und insgesamt kooperiert der Verein eng mit der Berliner Polizei. Dabei ist der PSV aber offen für jedermann, eine Zugehörigkeit zur Polizei ist zur Mitgliedschaft nicht mehr erforderlich. Der PSV besitzt kein eigenes Vereinsgelände; die einzelnen Abteilungen sind mit ihren Angeboten über die ganze Stadt verteilt. (de)
- Polizei SV Berlin was a German football club from the city of Berlin (SV is the abbreviation of 'Sportverein', i.e., sports club). The early 1920s saw the formation of sports clubs for police and postal workers which included the establishment on 1 June 1921 of Sport-Verein Schutzpolizei Berlin as the club of the city's police force. It was renamed Polizei SV Berlin in 1922 and advanced to play first-division football in the Oberliga Berlin for a single season in 1926–27. They returned to Oberliga play in 1929 for a three-year turn that ended after a 9th-place finish in 1932. In 1930, the club took part in the Berliner Landespokal (Berlin Cup) and went out 1–2 to Minerva Berlin in a quarterfinal match. (en)

Ce club compte plus de 3 500 membres répartis au sein de 25 sections sportives différentes.Depuis 1991 sa section football arrêta ses activités. La majorité de ses membres rejoignirent le 1.
