- Els plectrèurids (Plectreuridae) són una família d'aranyes araneomorfes descrita per Eugène Simon el 1893. Són aranyes haplogines, cribel·lades, que construeixen les seves teranyines sota roques i cactus morts. Són poc conegudes i no se'n sap massa de la seva biologia. A diferència de sicàrids, escitòdids i diguètids, famílies properes, els plectrèurids tenen vuit ulls. En la seva aparença, les femelles de Plectreurys s'assemblen a les grans cribel·lades com els filistàtids. Difereixen però, entre altres detalls, en la disposició dels ulls i en què tenen el primer fèmur, és a dir, el tercer segment de les potes, inclinat. (ca)

- Plectreuridae, also called plectreurid spiders, is a small spider family confined to the Southwestern United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Only two living genera are known—the nominate genus Plectreurys and Kibramoa. In the past, the family was more widespread, with the Jurassic genus Eoplectreurys known from China, the Eocene from Baltic amber and the Miocene from Dominican amber. These ecribellate, haplogyne spiders build haphazard webs under rocks and dead cacti. Adult males can be found wandering at night. Relatively little is known of their biology. Unlike the sicariids, scytodids, and diguetids, to which they are most closely related, they have eight eyes. In appearance females of Plectreurys resemble those of the larger species of the cribellate Filistatidae. They differ in their eye arrangement and in having the femurs on the first pair of legs bowed. (en)

Współczesne Plectreuridae występują jedynie w południowo-zachodnich Stanach Zjednoczonych, w Meksyku, Kostaryce oraz na Kubie, jednak odkrycie skamieniałości E. gertschi w środkowojurajskich osadach w Chinach dowodzi, że w przeszłości Plectreuridae miały odmienny zasięg występowania. Według analizy filogenetycznej przeprowadzonej przez Martína Ramíreza Plectreuridae są najbliżej spokrewnione z nasosznikowatymi (Pholcidae), i . (pl)
