- Petr Benčík (* 29. ledna 1976 Česká Lípa), přezdívaný Bejk, je bývalý profesionální silniční cyklista. Českou republiku reprezentoval na Letních olympijských hrách v Pekingu roce 2008. Ve své kariéře získal třikrát titul Mistra republiky v závodě mužů. Benčík začal závodit mezi profesionály v roce 2000 v týmu Wüstenrot ZVVZ. V průběhu své aktivní závodní činnosti dokázal zvítězit v mnoha Českých i mezinárodních silničních závodech. Mezi jeho největší úspěchy patří vynikající výkon na v Polsku v roce 2006, kde zvítězil. Jako jezdec České profesionální stáje PSK Whirlpool-Author, se dokázal ve svých 32 letech nominovat do silničního závodu mužů na Letních hrách v Pekingu 2008. Vyčerpávající závod, který vzdalo více než 100 jezdců, dokončil na 74. místě v čase 6:39:42. Po ukončení aktivní závodní činnosti vede v Praze cykloobchod s italskými koly Colnago a švýcarským cyklooblečením . (cs)

Petr Benčík begann seine Karriere als Profi im Jahr 2000 bei dem Radsportteam Wüstenrot-ZVVZ. Ab 2003 fuhr er für die Nachfolge-Mannschaft Ed' System-ZVVZ. 2005 wurde er Sechster bei Rund um den Henninger-Turm und Vierter bei den Vier Tagen von Dünkirchen. Von 2006 bis 2012 fuhr Benčík für das tschechische Continental Team PSK Whirlpool. 2008 er bestritt er das olympische Straßenrennen bei den Olympischen Sommerspielen in Peking und belegte Rang 74. Dreimal – 2008, 2010 und 2011 – wurde er tschechischer Meister im Straßenrennen, 2011 gewann er die Oberösterreich-Rundfahrt. (de)

- Petr Benčík (born 29 January 1976 in Česká Lípa) is a retired Czech professional road cyclist. He represented his nation Czech Republic at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and also claimed three sporting titles in men's road race at the national championships as a full-fledged member of the Czech cycling team. Bencik made his professional cycling debut in 2000 for the team Wüstenrot ZVVZ. Throughout his career, he captured numerous cup titles in both national and global road cycling tournaments, including his tremendous triumph from the 2006 Memoriał Henryka Łasaka in Poland. Riding for PSK Whirlpool–Author pro cycling team since 2006, Bencik qualified for the Czech squad, as a 32-year-old, in the men's road race at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing by receiving one half of the nation's two berths from UCI Europe Tour, along with his teammate Roman Kreuziger. He successfully completed a grueling race with a seventy-fifth-place finish through a vast field of nearly a hundred cyclists in 6:39:42. Bencik's official result was later elevated to seventy-fourth position, when Italy's Davide Rebellin had tested positive for CERA that consequently stripped off his Olympic silver medal. (en)
