- The Professional Footballers' Association Women's Players' Player of the Year is an annual award given to the player who is voted to have been the best of the year in English women's football. The award has been presented since the 2012–13 season and the winner is chosen by a vote amongst the members of the players' trade union, the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA). The current holder is Sam Kerr who won the award on 9 June 2022. The first winner of the award was Arsenal midfielder Kim Little in 2013. Every spring, each member of the association votes for two players. A shortlist of nominees is published in April and the winner of the award, along with the winners of the PFA's other annual awards, is announced at a gala event in London a few days later. (en)
- Calciatrice dell'anno della PFA (in lingua inglese Professional Footballers' Association Women's Players' Player of the Year) è un premio calcistico assegnato annualmente alle giocatrici che hanno partecipato al campionato inglese di calcio femminile. Il premio, istituito nella stagione 2012-2013 come corrispettivo femminile del già esistente Calciatore dell'anno della PFA, viene assegnato a seguito di una votazione tra i membri del sindacato dei giocatori, la Professional Footballers' Association (PFA). In primavera ogni membro dell'associazione vota per due giocatrici. Una lista ristretta di candidate viene pubblicata ad aprile e la vincitrice del premio, insieme ai vincitori degli altri premi annuali della PFA, viene annunciata in occasione di un evento a Londra nei giorni successivi. La prima calciatrice a ricevere il premio nel 2013 è stata la centrocampista scozzese Kim Little, allora in forza all'Arsenal. (it)
