- Η (2-)οξιρανόλη (αγγλικά (2-)oxiranol) είναι οργανική ετεροκυκλική χημική ένωση, που περιέχει άνθρακα, υδρογόνο και οξυγόνο, με χημικό τύπο C2H4O2, αν και συνήθως παριστάνεται με το γραμμικό της τύπο. Είναι η απλούστερη ετεροκυκλική αλκοόλη και ανήκει στα «θυγατρικά» οξιράνια. Επίσης, η ονομασία «οξιρανόλη» επεκτείνεται και σε «θυγατρικές» οξιρανόλες, δηλαδή διάφορα ετεροκυκλικά παράγωγα που περιέχουν (έναν τουλάχιστον) τριμελή οξιρανικό δακτύλιο και (ένα τουλάχιστον) υδροξύλιο.
