Przez wiele lat współpracował z Aaronem Spellingiem i , tworząc stroje dla ich produkcji telewizyjnych. Największe uznanie przyniosła mu praca na planie serialu Dynastia w latach 80. Jego projekty stały się tak popularne, że na ich podstawie stworzono kolekcję Haute couture. „The Dynasty Collection” bazowało na strojach noszonych w Dynastii przez Joan Collins, Lindę Evans oraz Diahann Carroll. Od 1983 do 1986 roku Miller był czterokrotnie nominowany do nagrody nagrody Emmy za osiągnięcia w Dynastii. W 1985 roku otrzymał kolejną nominację za film telewizyjny z Elizabeth Taylor pt.
