- Nicolas l’Aleman († Juni 1277) war Herr von Caesarea im Königreich Jerusalem. Als solcher wurde er auch Nicolas von Caesarea genannt. Er war ein Sohn des Jean l’Aleman und dessen Gattin Margarethe Brisebarre von Caesarea. Als sein Vater starb, war Nicolas’ älterer Bruder Hugo bereits tot, deshalb erbte Nicolas die mütterliche Herrschaft Caesarea. Die Festungsstadt Caesarea wurde 1275 von den Mamluken unter Sultan Baibars I. erobert und entvölkert. 1276 heiratete er Isabella von Ibelin (* 1252; † 1282/1283), Herrin von Beirut, Tochter des Johann II. von Beirut. Sie war zuvor bereits zweimal verheiratet gewesen, nämlich mit dem König Hugo II. von Zypern († 1267), sowie mit einem englischen Kreuzritter namens Hamo le Strange († um 1274), Herr von Ellesmere. 1276 ermordete Nicolas in Nikosia den Großvetter seiner Frau, Johann von Ibelin, woraufhin dessen Bruder Balduin von Ibelin Rache übte und Nicolas im Juni 1277 ermordete. Die Hintergründe zu dieser blutigen Familienfehde blieben in den Überlieferungen ungenannt. Nach seinem Tod heiratete seine Witwe in vierter Ehe Wilhelm Barlais († 1305/1306). (de)

- The brothers Nicholas and Thomas Aleman (floruit 1277) were the last Lords of Caesarea before the title went into abeyance. They lived in the Kingdom of Cyprus. Neither ruled over Caesarea, since the city had been conquered by the Mamelukes under Baibars in 1265. In 1264, their older brother Hugh died in a riding accident while their father, John Aleman, was still lord of Caesarea. Their mother, Margaret, the heiress of the fief, disappears from contemporary records after 1255. Nicholas married Isabella, daughter of Lord John II of Beirut and already twice widowed: first by King Hugh II of Cyprus and second by Raymond l'Estrange, an Englishman. In 1277, Nicholas assassinated John, son of Guy of Ibelin, in Nicosia. Soon after he was in turn killed by John's brother, Baldwin of Ibelin, constable of Cyprus. After his death, Isabella remarried for the fourth time to William Barlais, but by none of her husbands did she leave any children. According to the Lignages d'Outremer, Thomas succeeded Nicholas as lord of Caesarea. He was married to Agnes, daughter of . They died without heirs, and the title went into abeyance. (en)
